Self-isolation and Treating coronavirus symptoms
Self-isolation is when you stay at home to help to stop the spread of the virus.
You should always self-isolate when you have symptoms, you have tested positive for coronavirus, someone you live with has symptoms, someone in your support bubble has symptoms, you have been told you have been in contact with someone with someone who tested positive, you arrive in the UK from a country with a high coronavirus risk.
When to stop self-isolating
You can stop self-isolating after 10 days as soon as your symptoms have gone.
When to keep self-isolating
Keep self-isolating after 10 days if you have a high temperature, a runny nose or sneezing, being sick, diarrhoea.
How to prevent being infected
1) Wash your hands regularly with soap and water
2) Keep at least 1-metre distance between you and people coughing and sneezing
3) Avoid touching your face
4) Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing
5) Stay at home if you feel unwell
6) Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken your lungs
7) Practice distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and large groups of people
Healthium Covid-19 testing
Healthium is an independent private clinic providing specialist treatments, GP services, aesthetic and holistic care.
Healthium is also providing covid-19 testing within their services, including antigen rapid tests, antibody rapid tests and polymerase chain reaction swab test, which is provided from RJAlogix.
How to prevent being infected
Antigen rapid tests – This test is used to tell if you currently have Covid-19.
Antibody rapid tests – This test is to see if you have had Covid-19 and can be used to identify if your immune system protects you against future infections.
PCR swab tests – This test can be used to show if your ‘fit to fly’. Healthium is working with RJALogix who provides a full-service provision for lab testing which is arranged for collection of the test swabs from the site and returned with results between 48-72 hours.
Healthium testing location
The Healthium clinic is based in the Badgemore park estate in Henley on Thames, just two minutes away from the town Centre.
The clinic is located within a walled garden with private parking, has several access points on the ground floor and has wheelchair access.
The building is manned from 8am mon-fri and there are in-site staff to meet patients/customers.
Who can be tested?
At Healthium, we can test family of all ages, including younger children and seniors.
We are also available to test residents of Henley and the surrounding areas, busy commuters, local corporates, health-conscious people and private medical insurance clients.
How to get a test from Healthium
Clients/customers can get a test by contacting Healthium through messenger on Healthium’s Facebook page and book an appointment or have some go to the clients home to do a home testing.
Testing costs
For the lab testing, postal services cost £129, clinic costs £179 and a home visit costs £199.

Vaccination
The NHS will let you know when its your turn for the covid-19 vaccination, this can be by a letter, text or email.
If you are invited to have your vaccination at a larger vaccination centre, you may get a letter and if you are invited to have your vaccination at your local hospital or pharmacy, you will usually get a text or email.
What happens on the day of your appointment?
Firstly, you will need to bring a face mask and your booking reference numbers if your appointment is at a vaccination centre.
Your appointment should last for around 30-45 minutes and you will be asked questions bout your medical history and then you will be given an injection of the vaccine into your upper arm.
